Friday night movies

sometimes happen in the middle of the week – now that the children have left home. Watching a movie with the person you love, snuggling closer when the movie touches a chord or two close to home – this is one of the simple pleasures in my life.

Babette's feast

The last two “Fridays”,  Babette’s Feast and Bombón – El Perro captivated us with their how-things-are plainness: Bombón – El Perro for its truth about man’s longing for worthiness, and Babette’s Feast for its truth about the choices people make,  the celebration of a simple life, and the inspiration passion fosters.

Two movies I will watch again.
